Ash had a bad bike wreck and her right hand was messed up a few days (which she writes with): "Mom, you know I'm really excited about using my left hand. After all, you know I'm anorexic."
Mama had the kids and there is this tiny church on their road. It always has the craziest sayings on its sign. This one said, "Are you a natural?" Mom told Ash, "Ash, I'll give you $20 if you go inside the church and ask them, 'Are you a natural'?" Hanna's eyes perked up. Mom said, "No, I want Hanna to do it. Hanna, will you do it for $20?" Hanna: "Well. . . . I'll whisper it."
