As I was painting Ash's room yesterday, she was in there hanging out with me. She had just returned from Home Depot with Jon. She was tickled silly because she got to go by herself. They all crave that one-on-one time . . . don't we all?
Before we started Big Time Budget of 2009 about a month ago, Jon was always the one to get them treats when they went to town with him. Since the budget cuts in our household :) there has been very little room for treats when going to town.
So, as Ash and I were chatting, I asked her, "Did you and Daddy get some breakfast while y'all were in town?"
"No, he's not that kind of a person anymore."
Cracking me up!!!

My husband works night so he sleeps during the day. And if starts to get on my oldest ones nerves (who's not even three yet) Grant will say "Daddy, just go to bed now!"
